Professor Rapoza is a fair grader. Considering it was an online class, I was able to learn the info and retain it. You will DEFINITELY need the textbook or you won't pass. There was way too many essays; the final exams are all essays, all the assignments are essay questions, and the quizzes had essays and were timed too. Also, be prepared to submit more than one chapter every week. Otherwise though, a great course and professor!
