Good
This class is pretty easy but is actually useless. She's nice and you won't have to message her because she gives a clear grading rubric. As long as you follow it, you will make a high A easily. I wouldn't suggest reading the book because it's a complete waste of time. All answers to quizzes can be found online.
Awful
My main issue with Professor Brekka is that she reads slower than a first grader. Because of this her lectures are torturous, plus she assigns unholy amounts of reading later in the semester. You might be able to get away with skimming the material, or pray that the quiz answers are on quizlet. Also her grading criteria is rather unclear and missed points are never explained.
Poor
Course is super lecture-heavy. Lectures are obviously not well-rehearsed and are absurdly long. Textbook was almost a waste of money because questions on the quiz are about 80% lecture-based. The TA waited until almost mid semester before she began entering grades for the DBPs. Overall, it was totally frustrating.
Good
The class of Professor Brekka is very easy, as long as you follow the discussion message or essay headings. A good way to get rid of humanities & diversity. Discussion posts can be made without lessons and most quizzes are on quiz-lets. Lectures can be boring if you listen to them though. Just don't buy textbooks, it's a waste of money. I finished her course with a grade of 99.
Average
Professor Brekka's class is just weekly discussion posts and quizzes. The answers to the quizzes were available online. The discussion posts were very easy as well. I spent maybe two to three hours a week at most in this class. The two papers take some time, but they were simple as long as you follow the rubrics. Overall, it's just a very easy A, almost any time commitment is required.
Good
I took Professor Brekka's class online. So, it's understandable that you barely hear from the professor, especially since the class is huge. Overall, it's a quiet easy class, and it is easy to get a perfect score in discussion posts, if you follow the guidelines.
Good
Her class is very easy. Don't spend your cash on the textbook because you won't use it at all. The weekly lectures we have in class are a piece of cake and you can look up all the answers to the quizzes on the internet. The toughest thing you'll have to do is the paper we write at the end of the semester, but even that's not too hard. I spent roughly an hour every week on the class and ended up getting an A.
