    and 2nd grade. There were a total of 28 students. I also teach at Mt. Hood Community College. The subjects I teach are College Reading and Writing. I also teach for a program called AVID which is a learning community for higher education.

    I am teaching for the AVID Program at Mt. Hood Community College in addition to teaching my regular course loads of Developmental Reading at Mt. Hood. AVID is basically a learning community for higher education. Students are in a cohort situation where they take 2-3 terms of their core classes together
