Attendance isn't mandatory, however I recommend going, he releases every class at least 10 minutes early. He doesn't give many quizzes, and there four tests including the final which is non-cumulative, however the tests are worth most of your grade.

Professor Beatty's lectures were very helpful for the exams and quizzes. The only complaint I have is that the study guides he gave us weren't very helpful some of them weren't covered in the test. I got a B on every exam. I feel like I could've gotten an A if the study guides were better and clearer. Overall, he was a great professor though.
