Average

The topics are boring, and the classroom feels sleepy because he turns off the lights. Class attendance is necessary. Very boring, lots of lectures, also a harsh grader.

Good

He's pretty good! He's old, but he cares, and he frequently brings up particular topics in class. None of the tests were very difficult. To be honest, there hasn't been a single professor in the French department who I wouldn't take again.

Good

Doctor Bracher is an amazing professor. He gave me great readings that really ignited my interest in the subject of war and memory. He has high standards for his assignments. However, he's also very kind and caring. He works with all his students to ensure their success. I would definitely take a course from him if I get the chance.
