The course itself is super easy, but Professor Fleming really needs to step up her game. She always forgets to open the assignments for us to do, and when you contact her about it, she is incredibly slow at responding. She is also extremely slow at grading the assignments.

Professor Fleming's online class is very easy. I had no issues with any of the assignments or tests, because they were all easy. For this class, you'll definitely need a handbook because the assignments or tests are strongly based on the information it contains. She's a bit crap though and often forgot to open assignments. She never responds to emails either.

    As a Brakeman performed manual breaking and switching/ coupling of rail cars for passenger excursions. Performed routine maintenance, inspection and repairs to rail cars during daily operations. Performed track switching duties in rail yard. Perform tear-down, inspection and rebuild work on rail cars using power tools and pneumatic tools. Work includes sanding, painting, fabrication, cleaning, inspection and installation of hardware and other duties as assigned. In Locomotive shop perform work related to steam locomotive maintenance. Work includes inspection and installation of boiler stay bolts; removal , inspection, cleaning and installation of locomotive drive systems, bearings and gears. Work includes various duties from performing boiler washouts; occasional locomotive hosteling; track cleaning including locomotive ash removal and debris cleanup. Performed boiler inspection including blue-print reading and interpretation, determining boiler thickness with ultrasound and marking locations of needed repair or replacement. Use power tools and pneumatic tools including but not limited to sanders, grinders and air hammers. Performed additional routine maintenance and/or duties on steam engines and general shop duties as assigned.
