Awesome

Professor Preiss was the best math teacher I've ever had so far. To be honest, most of the people that rated him are exaggerating. He is funny and caring and helps his students. You just have to ask questions and study like any other class. Overall, I highly recommend this class.

Awful

I do not recommend taking Professor Preiss. He is hilarious but I did not learn from him and I had to teach myself. He is a tough grader, and he teaches too much at a time! If you struggle with math please stay clear.

Average

I had Professor Preiss at Borough of Manhattan Community College. He's awkwardly funny but relaxed. His class consists of three easy tests, a final and homework. He'll provide exact questions before the test, just with different numbering. So, it's easy to get a perfect score. The Mathlab assignments were easy as well. However, he teaches slower than other professors though. I suggest, you learn the subject matter first, before the final. Also, he barely takes attendance and took a while to reply on emails. On the other hand, he'll answer your questions.
