Awful

Professor D'Amico had us write about the most irrelevant things I've ever written about in my life. All she cares about was the APA format. She made me write about Catholicism but she's an atheist so she completely graded it based on her opinion. She has nothing better to do but to give an irrelevant load of work. Literally, this is one of the most awful professors I've ever had.

Average

I had Prof. D'Amico for comp 2. She was a good professor. The class was usually organized well. She sent out reminders every week of what was due and would keep the schedule updated. She helped me even though I hate writing. She gives great feedback. Sometimes it felt like the class lacked structure or went off topic. You don't have to buy a textbook though so that was nice.

Awesome

I enjoyed Professor D'Amico's class. The assignments were fun and interesting. We went over grammar, as well as other writing tips and did argument and persuading. Also, we did persuading in advertising, visual arguments and debating. Honestly, I liked the grammar exercises. There is lots of homework, but grading was easy for most assignments. She provided us instructions and explained everything as well.

Professor D'Amico is pretty good. Some of the assignments were time consuming but they were all pretty interesting. Not like most english classes. There were rubrics and good instructions on the assignments. Do your work, go to class, and you are guaranteed an easy A.

Good

I really enjoyed Prof. Michele and I would recommend him to anyone. She's an amazing teacher and coursework is pretty interesting. She's willing to entertain opinions as well.

Poor

The types of essays were interesting. I liked doing other things that I wouldn't have thought of doing. It's probably not a class for someone who wants to do a couple of standard essays and move along. We picked our own topics for the essays and did a class debate which we didn't pick but were assigned. It was interesting. Not what I was expecting. I would take her again for another class. She's laidback and it's a fun class but there is definitely an attendance policy that she will bug you about.
