Publications

  • A hierarchical streamline-assisted history matching approach with global and local parameter updates

Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering

A hierarchical streamline-assisted history matching approach is presented. Two step procedure with global and local calibrations. A genetic algorithm is used for global parameter calibration. A streamline sensitivity-based method is used for local parameter calibration. Geologic realism is preserved by ensuring minimum changes in local calibration.

  • A Simulation-Free Approach for Well Placement in Tight Gas Reservoirs

    2013 IPTC

This paper introduces a rapid simulation-free procedure to determine infill well locations, which also takes reservoir uncertainty into consideration.
