McCarthy is super straightforward; when it came to the college algebra course you really just needed to watch the online textbook. Just do the homework and you'll do just as well on the tests. You won't get too much homework, it's stuff you can finish in around an hour. The class can be a bit fast though.

McCarthy is a strangely, and wonderful professor, he is truly a character, and is one of the top professors at ACC. He really cares about his students understanding the content of the class. His lectures are never dull, and he won't take any misbehaving. Unfortunately he has a bad reputation because he is intelligent enough to know that teaching only does so much, and students have to also learn through hard work.
