If you enjoy class discussion, choose another teacher. Professor Ridge just lectures the whole time. The exams are similar to the study guides, with short answer definitions and essay. Also, I recommend taking notes, they are really useful for pop quizzes. I had him for a summer term. Be sure to show up and sign in every time. And do not be snarky because he will kick you out.

In Professor Ridge's class, taking notes and attendance is a must. Quizzes were based on topics he went over the last class and were open notes. Also, he'll give you the terms and essay questions ahead of time. I recommend answering them and go to his office hours, to see if you're missing something or if you said too much. The class is an easy A, if you put in the work.
