I consider myself skilled when it comes to carrying out research from beginning to end. This includes the following: formulating research questions, informing methodologies, running data analyses, interpreting results, and writing technical reports and/or manuscripts. Furthermore, I really enjoy teaching (particularly statistics) undergraduate students. I am interested in utilizing my skills to serve as a consultant for individuals who need help running data analyses as well as writing theses and dissertations.

    I worked on a large, federally funded grant that examined risk and resiliency processes in Mexican American families. My responsibilities included the following:


    ▪ Applied theoretical conceptualization in constructing research questions utilizing a prevention-minded framework

    ▪ Conducted professional writing
    ▪ Disseminated research findings at professional conferences
    ▪ Mentored undergraduate students in applying research methods, running data analysis, and writing conference research proposals
