My research is on inequality in higher education, comparing how social class background affects students’ academic experiences at flagship and regional state universities. I am particularly interested in how some institutions of higher education reproduce inequality while others reduce it.

I have 6 years of college teaching experience, covering courses in social inequality, the family, and qualitative research methods.
