Professor Gatlin is good about making things clear. There is no midterm test and no book. It is mostly essays, one trial project which was almost fun and a final exam. I will definitely be taking another one of his classes.

Prof. Gatlin is totally awful. He was a harsh grader and he doesn't give you instructions when submitting your essays so you have to be really careful because one mistake can cost you a lot. During the discussion boards, he responds with the same comment to everyone.

This was a good class and a good professor. He tells stories and makes lectures easy to understand. You will have to read, but the lectures really pull everything together. There is a discussion board each week but they're connected with the stories too.

Prof. Gatlin's class helped me fill in a lot of things that HS left out. I'm planning to take 1102 with him next sem. Class was very organized and straightforward, so it's easy to know where you are and what is due. He's also a fast grader and he's very responsive to messages.

I had her online eight week class, and it was very simple and straight to the point. There were two short stories, a discussion post, and a quiz every week. The fifth week has a literature analysis paper. The quizzes and exams are easy. Great teacher, learned tons!

This 8-week course was very manageable. I even had time to do work for my 4 other courses. Every week, there is a discussion and quiz based on the readings which are pretty easy. His lectures were very helpful as well. You will have to do a literary essay on the 5th week, but worry not because he gives clear guidelines about what he wants. TOTALLY AN EASY A COURSE.

There is no textbook in this class. He gives everything in lectures instead. He doesn't give too much assignments and discussions boards are actually pretty helpful with assignments. Class turned out to be more interesting that I expected it to be. He gives good feedback and is very responsive to emails. If you want to learn creative writing, take this class. It's not so hard to get an A in this class.

Prof. Mark's class is very straightforward and easy to follow. Wasn't dumbed down but it's pretty logical and structured. There weren't a lot of extra clicks and things. There are weekly discussions and three major assignments with a final. Definitely worth taking for a prof!

Pls do not take Prof. Gatlin's class. He's a very tough grader. You get lots of points taken off if you miss class. You can also miss one of the 5 pop quizzes he gives randomly. Grades are hard and he doesn't give extra credit. You'll get a low grade if you don't participate in class. Won't recommend him at all.

Good

Take Prof. Gatlin's class if you're looking for an easy one. He isn't a fast grader, but as long as you read lectures and complete the assignments, you'll do good. I bought the book, but you can actually pass just by reading his lectures.
