I am currently a Ph.D. student at the University at Buffalo, pursuing a degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning. In addition, I have taught courses in writing composition for the University at Buffalo and Buffalo State College. My areas of interest include refugee and immigrant student education, effective instructional strategies, qualitative and quantitative research methods, and promoting academic success in higher education.
