Facilitates research initiatives for global endeavors. Screens, recruits and evaluates outsourced instructors for international programs Ensures program academic quality and coordination of programs overseas Assists in the creative process of writing and editing marketing materials.   Proposes strategies to attract, recruit and retain Latino students Coordinates the formulation and implementation of policy regarding Latina/o students’ recruitment, development and retention Monitors the implementation of those policies Advises marketing department on current strategies to appeal to the Hispanic/Latina/o educational market Designs, implements and coordinates campus wide programs, activities and events aimed to retain and strengthen the presence of Latina/o students Recommends to the enrollment and recruitment departments strategies and methods to recruit Latina/o students Fosters and encourages the presence of Latina/o student organizations on campus and online. Designs and implements cultural awareness training for faculty, staff and students. Works with the Office of Advancement on developing fundraising opportunities to increase funding to Latina/o students Works with Financial Aid to assure Latino students awareness and access to sources of financial aid. Serves as a liaison to external organizations and institutions focused on social, spiritual, professional, and academic development of Latinas/o. Educates and informs academic and non-academic units on the importance of hiring Latina/o personnel to create an appealing and welcoming campus for Latino students Proposes a research agenda on Latino issues and topics for students and faculty. Coordinates with Campus Ministries the spiritual nourishment of Latino students and encourages opportunities for cultural sensitive expressions of faith and worship. Assists academic units in the development of content and programs related to the Latina/o Studies Serves as a resource for the Spanish residential language program. Represents Regent University at Latina/o –concerned conferences and other academic events Serves as an instructor on Latina/o and cross cultural related programs or courses as needed Cooperates with the Alumni office in identifying support for Latina/o students
