Professor Parilo (Accounting) Excellent Professor! Her class was an easy pass as long as you showed up and did what you were supposed to do. She was passionate about her subject and the way she teaches is very effective. One of the best! Far Out!

Poor

I had Professor Parilo in Fall 2018 for Acct 301. I didn't really care for the way she teaches. Once in class she thought I wasn't paying attention so she kept calling on me again and again, which I found quite annoying. I was actually paying attention. Also, she is always walking around the classroom.

I loved accounting after taking it with Prof. Parilo. She informs you of all the necessary details and she gives you lots of chances to practice, so you'll know the material before exams. Super amazing!

Prof. Parilo is amazing! She makes the material entertaining and she even relates it to the real word. She's pretty willing to work with students to help them succeed as well. I would recommend reading the textbook and taking advantage of all the Wiley Plus practice. If you can, take her in person. If you're taking her for online class, do not hesitate to reach out to her via email because she's very responsive.

Professor Parilo is the best instructor I've ever had at Cosumnes River College. She cares about her students. Honestly, I was afraid of accounting. But now, I'm seriously thinking about majoring in accounting. I suggest you to take her class.

Professor Parilo is great. Her class consists of weekly online assignments that were quite lengthy, as well as some weekly assignments that were due in person. But, if you put effort in her class, you'll actually get an A. She'll give a lot of extra credit as well.
