I have been employed at the University of Central Florida for about 26 years. Currently, I am the Director of Student Services within the Rosen College of Hospitality Management and serve as an Adjunct Faculty Member.
In my current role, my responsibilities include program development and implementation, curriculum management and overseeing the Office of Student Support and Academic Advising Services. Within the academic services capacity, I update program and informational changes within the college for the undergraduate catalog, providing leadership and policy development, ensure compliance of university policies and procedures, serve on the SACS accreditation board, Statewide Course Numbering Committee and Academic Advising Council. I am also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and serve on various committees within the university.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Master of Arts degree in Liberal Arts, Issues of Social Concern both from the University of Central Florida. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership.
I also own and operate KARES EVENTS an event décor and rental business, serving my local hometown.
