It is essential to have a basic understanding of Psychology if you are going to have a lot of contact with people. Furbush is clearly well prepared to teach the subject and she can apply her knowledge very effectively in the class room.

So far, my favorite class this semester. It was a fun class and wasn't as hard as I expected it to be. 1102 isn't a class you should take as an elective but it has lots of topics helpful for psych majors. The stats part was tolerable. The professor was very patient and helpful/ I wish I could take another class with her.

Her class was the most interesting I've had in my entire college life. She definitely knows what she is teaching and provides great examples. Very kind, helpful, and funny. There are lots of lazy students in my class who seemed to hate being there, but I guess that's just how it goes in this campus. You'll get a good grade just as long as you put in effort in her class.

It felt like she wasn't very well versed in the content of the class, so it was difficult to stay on track during the lectures. There were also lots of statistics, so many that I'd recommend taking statistics before you take her. Quite a few research projects. Really funny and fast at grading.

Prof. Furbush is a decent teacher but her monotonous voice can be quite bothering. It's easy to fall asleep in class because of the lack of classroom energy. Answers and questions on tests aren't clear. Exams are multiple choice, but don't underestimate it because it's really hard. She is extremely detailed for an intro level course.

I love Professor Furbush. Not only does she care about his students, but he will do anything to help them do so. She's really great at communicating and feeding you things that you need help with. If I could take her for all my classes to get my psychology degree, I would. Overall, I highly recommend her class.
