Prof. Jurata is amazing! However, she has quite a fast pacing and sometimes exams and material don't actually match up. She gives tons of work and expects us to always be on track. She'll always have something to say even if we study and do our best. She gives lots of extra credit tho so take advantage of those!

Be prepared for back-to-back exams! She teaches quickly, but she is always there to help you understand the content better!

She's one of the best genetics instructors you can find. Everything she discusses in class and in conversation will be covered in the exams, so pay attention. Half of her exams are written and half are multiple choice. It may seem like there is a lot of writing, but if you study what she provides you, you will be alright! She is a nice person who is always prepared to lend a hand.
