Ellington
Thomasville, Georgia
After working for IBM for 23 years, I am a college professor of business, teaching and researching in the field of leadership, both national and international.

I co-authored a published textbook in the field of strategic leadership with Dr. Pisapia, FAU, titled: The Strategic Leader: Bringing the habits to life (2013). Our book is based on five years of international research and is used not only in the academic setting but the corporate environment, as well.

To date, I have written 23 chapters in published international books of scholarly research in the field of leadership, academic trends and tools; as well as many journal articles around the topic of leadership.
In addition to teaching and writing, I have the role and responsibility of being an Associate Editor for the Journal of Adult Vocational Education and Technology (IJAVET)

I am a member of Editorial Advisory Board for 3 published textbooks and a member of a team of Research Peer Reviewers for several universities.

In 2017 I was honored with the Dr. Patricia Cranton Award based on my scholarly publications.

I am an Editorial Board member for the 2019 book Handbook of Research on Transdisciplinarity in Theory, Research and Practice. IGI Global Publishing.

I have volunteered in the role of being a curriculum advisor to the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation, Camp Kindness Counts, Redmond, Washington, and GROWS Literacy Council, Inc. Florida.

I thrive on working with people who so often ramshackle the house of my head! Exploring curiosity and creativity is the growth to the wholeness of who we all are, sprinkled with kindness and empathy.
