My first passion has always been teaching--especially at the 8th-12th grade and university freshmen and sophomore level. My instructional focus is in the process of writing for different audiences and purposes, which results in critical reading, thinking, and writing. , research, analysis, However, term instructors are notoriously underpaid, and so I supplement this with running my own business that provides writing and tutoring services for students and Alaskan businesses. As always, I am looking to connect, network, and always looking for opportunities that are right for either my students or my career.
