She's very passionate about psychology and she is a great teacher. She used a great homework software which is really helpful with memorizing the course material effectively. She offers extra credit at least once a week in class. Her lectures are always entertaining.

Professor Mavica's class is not interesting but doable. She just reads off her PowerPoint lectures. The tests are based on her PowerPoints. I did not pay attention in any of her classes or take notes, I just come for the extra credit quizzes and still passed. However, beware of doing her extra credit quizzes outside of class, she's caught a few people. As long as you do the homework it is easy.

I'm currently taking my third class with Professor Mavica this semester and another one with her in the Spring. She uses Mindtap so, you have to buy the online textbooks. However, the homework was very easy and helps you remember the material. She's honestly one of the best Psychology professors at Florida Atlantic University. Take her for any class as you can.

I took BIO 1 and I really loved it, so I figured I'd take BIO 2 as well. It was very difficult! It was doable, but you have to read 200-300 powerpoint slides for every exam. There was way more info per exam than any of the other classes I've taken with her. However, she's still one of the nicest professors at FAU!

Prof. Lauren is amazing! She clearly wants everyone to pass! We had three exams in class and they are not cumulative. That's all there is to it. She does not curve or provide additional credit for studying, but she does provide study aids that summarize the key themes of the powerpoints. Class is very easy and she's really sweet! If you have the chance to take further classes with her, take advantage of it.

Professor Mavica is very passionate about teaching. She provides lecture videos and always replies to emails. The class was graded with three exams, 50 mc questions, but because it is online, she said it is a written answer from now on, easy quizzes, and Tophat homework on 12 chapters. She's strict when it comes to cheating, so be careful. Even if she can get off with the topic when talking, it doesn't bother me since it's insightful.

Professor Mavica is amazing. She's very friendly and easy to talk to. She's a good lecturer and you'll learn a lot from her. Her grades consists of three exams and homework which is 25% EACH. I suggest you study in her class. Generally, there's no extra-credit but due to the pandemic, she was understanding when we went online. Her class is kind of neurotic in the best way. I suggest you take her class and you won't regret it.

I have taken several classes with Doctor Mavica. She's the best and she really inspires me. Her happy attitude is contagious. She's very sweet and knowledgeable. Her classes were amazing and keep you hooked. Honestly, I always enjoy going to her class. She also gives some extra credit for attending the class. It is not much though, but it might help if you have a borderline grade.
