Awesome

I love Professor Akinyemi! He is very helpful and always willing to meet after class. He also gives lots of opportunities for extra credit. When I needed an extension a couple of times on my homework, he gave it to me. The exams are based off of questions from the quizzes and group work assignments. Take him for Math 1300 if possible!!

  • Exact solutions to a Muskat problem with line distributions of sinks and sources

    Contemporary Mathematics

The Hele-Shaw cell is a device used to study two-dimensional flows of viscous fluids. It consists of two parallel plates and a viscous fluid, sandwiched in a narrow gap between the plates. The Hele-Shaw cell is widely used as a powerful tool in several fields of natural sciences and engineering, in particular, matter physics, material science, crystal growth and, of course, fluid mechanics.
