Professor O'Neil is definitely one of the tougher professors on campus. You have to work for the grade you want! There are lots of reading between articles he assigns and the textbooks. He is good at giving feedback on graded papers and will generally try to work with you to help you understand if you truly want it.

Professor O'Neil has a bit of a poor reputation here, and it's really all directed at the difficulty of the material itself. Apart from that, you're given really good feedback on your work and he actually cares about the subject being taught. You'll learn a lot of great information, and apart from that be prepped for grad school.
