► ACCOUNTING PROFESSOR: Currently, I serve as a Clinical Professor with the USF Muma College of Business and Florida Center for Cybersecurity. I teach graduate classes on legal compliance, accounting, cybercrime and security, internal control, and fraud.

► FORMER FBI AGENT: For more than 20 years, I served as a Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent, working cases involving white collar crime, bank fraud, financial crimes, violent crimes, terrorism, and bombing. My efforts directly contributed to high-profile convictions and the prevention of terrorist acts in the United States.

► ATTORNEY: A licensed attorney since 1981, I received my JD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law (top 2% of graduating class). I have worked as a Federal Prosecutor, as well as a Civil/Criminal Litigator in both a small firm and private practice.

Known as the “go-to guy” who executives rely on to get things done, I am able to accomplish a mission without causing unnecessary controversy or internal conflict. I offer a distinct advantage to publicly traded companies seeking an INDEPENDENT BOARD DIRECTOR. My unique background gives me the ability to be a truly independent advisor with unquestionable integrity and ethics, expertise in federal regulatory issues, and no conflicts of interest.

Clinical Professor of Accounting, Muma College of Business | Florida Center for Cybersecurity

Upon retiring from the FBI in 2013, I joined the University of South Florida to teach two graduate-level classes in the Muma College of Business:

► Forensic Accounting & Legal Issues
► Legal Compliance, Governance & Risk Management

Due to my expertise in cybercrime and cybersecurity, I was assigned to the Florida Center for Cybersecurity, a state-funded organization that will make Florida the national leader in this emerging field. Currently, I am working to develop and teach classes in Cyberlaw and Cyberintelligence for the Center’s master’s degree program and graduate certificates.
