Art Teacher at Little Falls City School District
Education Management
Kelly
McGrogan
Utica, New York Area
I have attained my master's degree in Art Education from Nazareth College of Rochester. I currently hold a New York State Visual Arts Certification (Birth-12). I have had much experience working in the art classroom from student teaching, children's art classes held at Nazareth College, and substitute teaching. Currently, I am an adjunct professor at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York teaching Art Appreciation and 2D Design.

With experience teaching in elementary, high school, and college levels, I have a diverse background and excellent classroom management skills. I particularly enjoyed working with students with special needs, and learning to differentiate my lessons to best meet their individual needs. Careful preparation of lesson plans allow me to break down advanced concepts that my students can easily grasp. I strive to develop students’ abilities to understand and have an appreciation for art.
