I am an experienced educator specializing in Mathematics. I am currently looking for opportunities to teach mathematics online.

I earned my Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire and I am experienced in teaching all levels of math from Developmental Math through Calculus. I have taught online at the college level since 2009 at various institutions such as DeVry University, Tiffin University, American Public University and Georgia Military College. Through my online teaching experiences I have gained competence in the following online Learning Management Systems: Moodle, eCollege, Blackboard, Angel and Sakai. I also have significant experience in facilitating courses that utilize Pearson’s MyMathLab platform. I have been successfully teaching online for many years, simultaneously at several schools. Juggling this workload requires self-motivation, focus, and the ability to keep track of, and adhere to differing deadlines. This is not difficult for me; in fact I enjoy the challenge of it and the feeling of accomplishment that comes with every successful course completion.

I truly enjoy teaching, mentoring and interacting with the students that I encounter while teaching online and I am constantly awed by the incredible diversity of their backgrounds, current situations and motivations. I admire their determination and enjoy being in a position to help them reach their potential. My teaching experiences have taught me to be patient, kind, and respectful of students’ needs while encouraging student self-direction and responsibility.
