I am an Associate Professor of English at Felician University, and I teach courses in all levels of English composition and literature. I have published articles and books in English literature and English education I was Chair of Developmental Studies at Felician College from 2010-2013. From 2008 to 2010, I taught composition and literature courses for the Department of English at Seton Hall University. From 2000 to 2010, I served as the Director of the Felician College Writing Lab. During that time, I co-authored a corporate ESL curriculum which I taught at the Federal Reserve Bank in East Rutherford, NJ. I also developed and taught a ten week Praxis II preparation course for Teacher Education students. Prior to these experiences, I worked as a Learning Specialist at Rutgers University, a Corporate Trainer teaching basic skills to employees, and a high school English teacher.

Field of Interest
I have taught courses in developmental writing, rhetoric and composition, literature, reading, ESL, Business Communications, Technical Writing, and Freshman Year Experience. I have given numerous presentations on learning styles, study strategies, time management, test preparation, test taking, note taking, and reading skills for undergraduate students. I have a special interest in working with students who have learning disabilities and other kinds of academic challenges, such as Asperger's Syndrome. I have experience working with international students and am interested in new approaches to remediation and developmental education as well as the impact domestic poverty has on one's access to literacy skills.
