Professor Neumann's lectures were unorganized. He often goes tangential rather than directly in cases. Be sure to take tons of notes and do all the reading. Doing well in his class requires a lot of self-education. Fortunately, the final exam is open book, but it takes a very well-thought-out outline to do well. The checklist was helpful though.
