Super love Prof. John! You can see that he's very passionate about teaching. He has a lot of experiences and stories to share. Workload is pretty fair and you actually have the whole sem to write the final essay. I suggest you read thru the material.

We didn't have any exams! He uses scantrons for his take-home quizzes, which makes everything really simple. He also requires you to read extensively and write papers. The last assignment is to give a presentation about a project. You must volunteer for a particular number of hours in a social center... so only apply if you have extra time after school!

Good

Doctor O'Sullivan is a character. Either you love him or you don't. I really enjoyed his class. He is a little quirky in the way he talks, and it's intriguing. Just read the material and be prepared to talk about it in the next lesson. He wants everyone to participate in class. I liked to talk to him outside of class about current issues. And don't discredit him, since he's very smart.
