Dr. Lenihan is very respectful to all the students and very passionate. If you are like me and not an audible learner, then I would not recommend taking him though. Usually there was a reading assignment every meeting which wasn't actually required but if you want to pass then you have to read them. Also, I found myself getting lost in the lectures.

Poor

There are no assigned homeworks but only "suggested readings" that always end with tests. All readings are extremely long! If it wasn't for the assigned paper, I would've gotten an A. TA was the one who graded it and he was very harsh! Worst thing is, there was no assigned textbook. You're screwed if you miss something in class.

Doctor Lenihan is a very auditory professor. He doesn't post lectures that often. The only reason I got a B is that I didn't learn as much for the final as I should have. Attend the class because it moves you up the ladder if you have. Moreover, as long as you pay attention in class and at least skim your readings, you should be fine.
