I am a philosophy major and this is, by far, the most inspiring philo course I've ever taken. What you give is also what you earn in this class. He is a rigorous and demanding prof though.

Professor Stuhr is incredibly kind, intelligent, and funny. His class will improve your analytical writing and critical reading. More importantly, it will teach you how to think about philosophy. The reading was considerable. However, writing 300-word analytical papers for each class was time-consuming, but he made it all worthwhile. Overall, this is the best class that I've taken at Emory University.
