    Provide outreach and research support for this relatively new Center. My main responsibility is to lead an Economic Development Administration-funded project that assesses the entrepreneurial ecosystems of Missouri regions which entails focus groups

    I conduct feasibility analyses

    including the feasibility of a business incubator in southeast MO and an ongoing feasibility study for an arts and cultural hub in an Ozarks community.

    Currently teaching Local Economic Development course for a new Master's degree program in Community and Economic Development which I helped to start. In a related project

    I serve as the Evaluator for a national project funded by the United States Dept of Agriculture to assess current practices and curriculum for Community Development degree programs.

    During my career at the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs

    I was a key player in building the organization into a nationally-recognized center for rural economic development. I initiated and designed four central program; the Peace Corps Fellows Program in Community Development

    and served on the boards of state and national development organizations.
