Good

Even though I'm not a fan of politics or history, this is an interesting break from what i expected. This can be quite boring but he makes important points and he definitely understands american politics.

Poor

Professor Granger is very intellectual and punctual. He goes over the material well, however his lectures are really boring. The assignments are tough, but the quizzes are easy.

Good

Professor Granger is obviously highly intelligent and he tends to use sophisticated language, but he explains everything. He will sometimes repeat the material. He is punctual so he likes it when you arrive on time. Says interesting things sometimes, but can also be a bit boring. I think it just comes down to whether you like government and politics. If you don't then too bad.

Orlando, Florida
I am currently an adjunct instructor at Valencia College and Seminole State College where I teach courses in U.S. Government, State and Local Government, and International Relations. I have taught courses in other political science subareas including Comparative Government and Constitutional Law. Other non-political science courses taught include sociology, cultural diversity, and business law.

I am a skilled communicator with adept use of various pedagogical techniques and technology. My courses are integrated with various online platforms allowing students convenience and ease of access.

I have experience in city-urban planning including both development and comprehensive planning. I was a member of the City of Altamonte’s Development Review Committee where I reviewed site plans for conformity to code. I conducted demographic studies and developed the City of Orlando’s Neighborhoods Website, which involved the integration of geographic information systems (GIS) data.

My skills include statistical data analysis (econometric regression models) and experience with various platforms such as SPSS, STATA, and R. I have published numerous articles and book reviews in academic journals and was a reviewer for The Latin Americanist, an academic journal. Review duties included editing submitted papers and determining fitness for publication.

As the international student advisor for the University of Central Florida ASPECT, I advised and placed students in programs within the university and with other universities. I reviewed student documents and created portfolios for students. In the absence of an academic director, I conducted all of the administrative-managerial functions of the program.

I am fluent in Spanish, having worked in Honduras and conducted research in other Central American countries. I also studied Korean and Japanese, but do not have fluency.
