I have worked in higher education facilitating others' access to learning and resources while delivering excellent customer service since I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Bemidji State University.

I am proud and thrilled to be teaching Speech Communications at Richland College, COMM 1311 at the University of Texas at Dallas, Speech Communication and Public Speaking at Collin College, and most recently have accepted an additional position teaching online for Ashford University. I am profoundly invested human communication and teaching others to become competent communicators. As the mother of a non-verbal autistic child I understand the important and complicated nature of communication. I love teaching and have come to believe that teaching is my calling. I feel blessed everyday to be allowed to do it.

The Snoring Dog, our petsitting service, developed out of a love and reverence my husband and I have for animals. We believe that boarding can be harmful to animals and provide services in the home for the comfort and safety of pets.

I have completed a 48 hour course of Introduction to Mediation from El Centro certifying me to legally mediate in the state of Texas. I seek someday to use my mediation and conflict resolution education and skills to increase human communication and understanding both professionally and personally.
