Through my experience managing staff including psychiatrists, clinical supervisors, direct social work staff and an administrative team, I have learned the impact that policies and administration have on providing quality services. Through participation in numerous city and state funded projects, I've also learned that the connection of evidenced based practice has the greatest effect in formulating and establishing sound policies which benefit clients. Therefore I'm interested in focusing my career toward projects that effect positive and direct change.

Specialties: SIFI certified, providing clinical supervision, providing psychotherapy with focus on treating Severely Mentally Ill (SMI) population, a modified cognitive behavioral approach, DBT, strength based therapy, motivation and empowerment, working with those with a history of incarceration managing trauma, alternatives to incarceration, center person collaborative treatment, group therapy; including design of effective curriculum, and in depth knowledge of quality assurance and compliance with regulations.

I am dedicated to the academic community and enjoy teaching at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Work.
