Prof. Reid is super kind! I took his online course and he didn't only welcome us, but also encouraged us to reach out to him and get to know him on a personal level. When I had a chance to visit the campus, he did it to introduce himself and he still checks up on me until now.

I was approached in May of 2012 to create
design and implement 'Capstone Character'
which is a digitally-platformed video education initiative for incoming first-year freshman students regarding various conduct policies. I closely collaborated with the Division of Strategic Communication (formerly the offices of Broadcast Media Relations/Design and Production) and the Office of Student Conduct (formerly the Office of Student Judicial Affairs). The initiative covers four content areas and includes minor in possession of alcohol
substance abuse
academic fraud and hazing through the lenses of awareness
prevention
student success
character
civility and overall better decision-making skills. Program includes short assessment for content reinforcement and retention. The program is still in use.
