    Program Director/Professor/Chair

As a full-time nurse practitioner I used my clinical skills to treat and care for patients in an emergency setting. The environment provided for an autonomous practice yet allowed for collaboration with physician counterparts. In addition

skills in treatment of minor to major trauma were encouraged. The group supported the use of previous skills as a respiratory therapist including airway placement and ventilator management with the addition of new skills including moderate sedation

    suturing

line placement and chest tube insertion. After 15 years I was recruited to assume a position as a manager of a free standing urgent care.
