Cancer and Aging: Making Sense of Life with Illness

The purpose of the Cancer and Aging Research Team is to study how aging people make sense of cancer. The group focuses on the metaphors people use to express their experiences of cancer and aging. This project is part of a much larger study involving cancer patients from all stages of life. The purpose of this life span study is to distinguish the needs and concerns of people in different age groups in order to improve quality of their care.
