    Study the craft and teaching of creative writing through analysis of the literary canon and pedagogical approaches. Practice teaching creative writing and literature in elementary and middle schools

    as well as undergraduate introductory and seminar courses. Develop and hone editing skills through reviewing over 50 pages of peers' work weekly as well as giving and receiving feedback\nWrite creative portfolios and research essays for publication about the creative process as well as utilizing creative arts to encourage the empowerment of homeless/at risk teenagers. Participate in community poetry readings and contribute to the Arts in Wales.\n
