After taking Professor Rudyk in my freshman year I can say that he is my favorite teacher here. He's passionate about the subject and you're exposed to a different way of thinking about it. While he is a tough grader, you have the chance to revise your work so it isn't terrible. I'd make sure to take his class again.

Experienced non-profit director responsible for growing and developing emerging non-profit organizations.

As the Executive Director at the Northwest Side Housing Center, a 25 person organization with an annual operating budget of one million dollars, James is responsible for conducting annual strategic planning sessions, leading staff training and development, providing individual and group coaching to staff, assisting with fundraising, fund development, and grant writing, as well as managing and developing various housing, education, financial education, and community based programs.

In addition, James has four years of direct-action, grassroots, community organizing experience, specifically in neighborhood based and statewide issue based community organizing.

Finally James brings over six years experience working with urban youth (ages 5-18) in a variety of settings, including after-care programs, tutoring programs, and curriculum enrichment programs.
