Poor

I don't recommend this class unless you have a lot of time to dedicate to it. He drops the lowest exam grade. Super kind, just not a great teacher. However, I did not go to office hours. He gives really difficult exams that are all short answer. Lecture heavy, goes really fast, and assumes a lot of common sense.

Awesome

Professor Erickson's material and expectations were more rigorous than other professors. However, his way of asking questions and presenting the material will stick with you longer than the duration of the course. Just read the book and do the practice questions on each chapter. The difficulty is because of the exams. Overall, he's my favorite professor at Texas A&M University.

Average

Prof. Erickson's class is quite boring, but he offers extra credit through LC. He also makes you second guess yourself. It's definitely a tough course, but he understands students' struggles, so he's very willing to help you in any way he can.
