Prof. Johnston makes her class enjoyable. She teaches in an unorthodox way that encourages her students to think outside the box. She introduces a project that connects her students to the outside world instead of limiting her class to writing boring papers. She also encourages us to formulate our own opinions on sources and analyze evidence. I totally loved her!

Prof. Johnston is my favorite professor! She's very energetic and humble. The energy she exudes makes you feel welcomed. Whenever she feels like you're struggling, she reaches out, also when you weren't able to submit an assignment. She will really work with you for your grade She opened my eyes to analyzing small things that actually make a difference.
