    I'm an HR educator and faculty leader of DePaul University's human resources graduate programs. I teach my students the value of treating everyone in the workplace fairly and with respect -- it's one of my core values and guides my research on harassment

    incivility

    and bullying in the workplace. Through my teaching and research

    I seek to give voice to those who have been disadvantaged in the workplace

    and bring insight about the kinds of leaders and workplaces that inspire engagement

    and inclusion. \n\nDr. Jaclyn Jensen is an Associate Professor of Management in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at DePaul University and is the Faculty Director of the Master of Science in Human Resources and Executive Master's of Human Resource Management programs. Her research interests focus on the impact of harassment and incivility on employee performance and well-being. Her research has been published in several top academic journals including Journal of Applied Psychology and Journal of Management

    and the Chicago Tribune. \n\nShe teaches courses on human resource management and organizational behavior and was the winner of the 2016 DePaul University Quality of Instruction Council Excellence in Teaching Award. \n\nIn addition to her scholarship and teaching

    Dr. Jensen consults on applied projects related to diversity training and improving workplace culture

    and she has been an invited speaker at a number of organizations including Accenture

    Health Care Service Corporation

    and Walgreens. \n\nPrior to joining DePaul’s faculty in 2012

    she was a faculty member at The George Washington University in Washington

    DC. Jaclyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University

    and her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University.
