Experienced editor, proofreader, and writer with extensive experience in a variety of fields, including education, media, and pop culture. I am comfortable with short deadlines, and I always complete my projects on time. I have worked with a variety of companies and publications, and can edit and proofread everything from short blurbs and paragraphs to book-length material.

I have a strong background in English literature, education, history, media theory, film, and advertising, but I have also edited and proofread work in finance, theology, Ph.D.-level biology, and world studies. I am keenly aware of how style changes from company to company and audience to audience. I tailor my work to each situation.

I have edited and proofread 1,000-page books, academic grant proposals, industry reports, and alumni magazines. I have rewritten articles to make them more understandable for non-native speakers, and I developed the research and writing guidelines for an educational website. As a movie critic, I wrote weekly reviews and feature articles, and I published a regional music magazine, managing and editing a volunteer staff of 15 people.
