Biography

PhD, University of Missouri, Columbia

Dr. Plax teaches Baroque and 18th century art. Her research interests include French Rococo Painting, Sweden and cultural interchange in the 18th century. She is the author of Watteau and the Cultural Politics of Eighteenth Century France (Cambridge University Press).
