Prof Shim is a great teacher! He is pretty flexible when it comes to assignments and he really looks out for those you actually try. He has a very thick accent which can bother some students, but it's easy to look past it since is he very engaging and passionate about the topics he talks about. Also, study for the test! It will be worth 60% of your grade!

Professor Shim likes to make jokes and is very friendly. He gives out a lot of projects and presentations. Attendance is mandatory for his class. So, he will strictly grade your attendance participation. Lectures were somewhat boring. He required one field trip. There were may guest speakers too. He will make everyone talk, so be prepared to talk. Overall, all the work in this class were very simple and easy.

Prof. Shim is amazing! He provides serveral IT topics, IT project methodology, Agile, PMBOK and more. He even brought industry guest speakers to our online class. He's very engaging and passionate! He gave weekly quizzes and tests. I really learned a lot from him!

I really enjoyed Prof. Shim's class! He invited various guest speakers from industry to talk on different topics. Guest speakers actually gave good industry insights. I specifically enjoyed the guest session on Streaming Analytics. Speaker clearly knows their stuff. 10/10 would recommend him!

Professor Shim is a nice guy. However, he doesn't teach at all. He reads right off of the slides, which are only a snippet of a snippet of what can be found in the book. Unless you read the very long chapters of the book, you won't be able to pass the exam without some help. Fortunately, he curves some of the grades. I suggest that you beware of him.

I'm very happy to take Professor Shim's class. He really cares about the students and will help you. Just pay attention during lectures and do all the homework to get an A. Also, you need to study, from day one to the midterm and from midterm to final exam. This will make you golden. I definitely recommend his class to everyone.

Professor Shim's class lectures include five or six guest speakers, several were virtual speakers. There is a lot of homework during the spring semester though, so be prepared to write and learn IT project methodology, PMBOK, DevOps, Agile, MSP, and others. Overall this course is very informative.

I never understood even a single word Professor Shim said. He lectures for two hours, talking to himself only. This should be an online class because it's impossible to comprehend him since his accent is very heavy. I wish I had taken this class with an American professor, maybe I would've learned something. In addition, he can be rude to students as well. Overall, I wouldn't recommend his class.
