Professor Merriam is a peculiar and very sweet teacher. You must take notes on what she writes on the board. So, take a picture or record her lectures, if you're a slow note taker one. Her exam is the same as the notes. Also, she'll provide many handouts and encourages group work. She's always willing to clarify any confusions. However, Biology is a class where you just read and memorize. If Professor Walter Jahn is not available, I'll take her.
