J. D. Wallace is a Professor of Communication at Abilene Christian University. Past work includes authoring or co-authoring over 100 national and international presentations and publications in the areas of crisis communication, technology-mediated communication, and organizational communication with a special emphasis on training & development. Professionally, he is an award winning scholar and teacher with numerous consultations in both for-profit and non-profit organizations .He has been extremely active in the governance of the National Communication Association including roles of senior leadership for both the "Training and Development” and “Human Communication and Technology" Divisions.
